News about the pandemic

Due to restrictions announced by the Government to deal with the pandemic, the Tourist Office will remain closed on weekends until further notice. The opening hours for the public will be from 9 am to 3 pm, from Monday to Friday.

How can I get to Montblanc?

CAN I GET THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

Yes, you can get to the town by public transport. There is more information to be found in the section GETTING TO MONTBLANC.

HOW CAN I GET THERE BY CAR?

You can get here by the roads C-14, N-240 and the AP2 (Salida 9) highway. There is more information to be found in the section GETTING TO MONTBLANC.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?

At the Tourist Office we have a free parking for our users. The parking is located just behind the building of the old wine cellar. Montblanc has also some public parking spaces (some of them blue zone).

CAN I PARK MY AUTOCARAVANE?

No, it is totally forbidden to spend the night with motorhomes in any public area of Montblanc. You can park your motor home in the areas specified in the section ACCOMODATION.

WHAT CAN I DO?

You can do many things! In the section SEE & DO in our website you can find many of the proposals Montblanc Medieval offers you. You can also contact us and ask us.

CAN I GO UP TOP THE WALLS?

You can go up the walls by hiring a guided tour: on weekends and holidays at 12:30 pm. If you come with a group, you can take a guided tour with pervious reservation. Coinciding with the events of Medieval Week and Clickània, you can also do it.

CAN I VISIT THE EMBLEMATIC BUILDINGS FROM THE INSIDE?

You can visit the interior of several buildings in the town, such as the Santa Maria church or the old hospital of Santa Magdalena, among others. And no, you can not visit the "castle" because we have none, but what you can do is climb up the hill where this castle stood up and enjoy splendid views of Montblanc!

WHAT KIND OF GUIDED VISITS DO YOU HAVE?

From the Tourist Office we offer you several guided tours. Check the corresponding web section to find them all.

WHICH ARE THE TYPICAL PRODUCTS?

In Montblanc you can find the traditional handmade sausages (traditional sausages, white and black sausage, ...) and pastry products (cakes, merlets, montblanquins, ...), which are part of a set from very active merchants and shopkeepers. Find information on where to buy them in the Gastronomy section of our website.
In the same building of the Tourist Office you can find the Agrobotiga, where you can find a great diversity of products from the Conca de Barberà.

WHAT IS THE MEDIEVAL WEEK?

The Medieval Week is a series of cultural and recreational events centered around the Middle Ages and the legend of Sant Jordi. Montblanc is transformed and revives its medieval past throughout these days.

WHEN IS THE MEDIEVAL WEEK?

The Medieval Week is always celebrated in the surroundings of Sant Jordi (April 23). You can find the exact dates of each edition on the website of the Medieval Week, although we tell you it is celebrated either on the previous weekend and on the next weekend in Sant Jordi, or on the next two weekends of this day

WHAT IS CLICKÀNIA?

Clickània is the Playmobil® festival of Montblanc.

WHEN IS CLICKÀNIA?

Clickània is celebrated on the two central weekends of October, taking advantage of the Puente del Pilar (October 12th). Check the mini-site of the festival for more information.

WHAT IS BRICKÀNIA?

Brickània is the Lego® festival of Montblanc.

WHEN IS BRICKÀNIA?

The Brickània is celebrated the weekend before Sant Joan (June 24th). Check the mini-site of the festival for more information.

WHAT IS TERRÀNIA?

Terrània is the international ceramic festival of Montblanc.

WHEN IS TERRÀNIA?

WHAT IS #SAFRÀNIA365?

The #Safrània365 is the title of a small event programming around the gastronomy and proximity products that embraces Safrània, the Sant Martí fair held in the last ten years. Check the mini-site for more information.

A FREE WIFI CONNECTION?

Yes, the Montblanc Town Hall offers free Wi-Fi connection to the public spaces marked with the "Montblanc Wi-Fi" logo.

ARE THERE PICNIC AREAS?

Yes, in the Ermita de Sant Josep and in the Pla de Santa Bàrbara. You can contact us for more information.

IS THERE A WEEKLY MARKET?

Yes, every Friday in the Plaça Major and Plaça Catalunya from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
