Celebration
In recent years the hermits of Sant Joan de la Muntanya have given a great impulse to the festivity. On the eve, the Flama del Canigó (Canigó flame) arrives to illuminate the chapel of Sant Joan. The day starts with a mass and continues with a performance by the Ball de Bastons de Montblanc and the changing of the senyera (Catalan flag) at the viewpoint. On the other hand, the Club Atlètic Montblanc organises a walk and a race up to the chapel.
