Celebration
Today, the tradition remains alive with the Corpus Eucharist, which includes the participation of children who have celebrated their First Communion, as well as the bell ringers of the parish of Santa Maria. After the service, a procession takes place from the church of Santa Maria to the Serra sanctuary. Later, the Seguici Popular, the traditional entourage, accompanied by civil and ecclesiastical authorities, parades to the Major square. This event is an exceptional opportunity to witness Montblanc’s most representative folkloric elements in action.
