In 2008, Montblanc recovered the Sant Martí Fair replacing what was being done by Sant Maties since the seventies of the 20th century. The Montblanc fair dates back to the 12th century. Since then its place in the annual calendar has varied for several reasons. Nowadays, it has gone from spring to autumn and from the festival of the town's patron saint, at the dates when the fair was held in medieval times. Linked with the historical record of its origins, the Montblanc Town Council wanted in its first edition to start a new era of the Fair with a clear renewed desire and in accordance with the tourism and consumer trends of the 21st century.

#Safrània365 was born in 2018 and consists of an annual program of small events around gastronomy and local products that take over from Safrània.
