It is in the section called Sant Jordi city wall, one of the best conserved porches, with three floors and spiked gate.
 
History:
This tower-porch is situated in the west on the way of the Prades mountains. A commemorative mosaic placed at this tower explains that, according to the legend, it was here where Saint George killed the dragon. Following this old tradition every year the people in Montblanc, coinciding with Saint George’s day (23rd of April), revive the medieval period and the legend of Saint George.
