Town Hall
Construction
It was started in the 18th century although the building we can see nowadays is from 2001, because it was completely done up keeping the façade and the arches.
Architectural features
On the ground floor we can see slim pointed arches and a wall painting about some historical outstanding events that took place in Montblanc. The door, the balcony and the upper gallery were added in the 17th century.
History
Its origin is from the 13th and 14th centuries, but the damage that the Reapers' War caused, spoilt the building and it had to be altered and restored. When the façade was restored in 1979 the primitive structure appeared, as well as the Gothic window. It is the seat of the town council.
