Lilla
Situation
A district located in the south-east of Montblanc, at the bottom of Carbonària mountain range, 483 metres high, bordering with the Alt Camp region.
History
Its origin is documented in the 12th century under the name of Alilla or La Ylla. In medieval times it was a royal village and depended on Montblanc. In the 19th century it was declared an independent municipality, but nowadays it is a district of Montblanc.
Outstanding place
The church dedicated to Sant Joan.
