Montblanc is a town in the centre of Catalonia, at about one hundred kilometres from the capital, Barcelona, and near such interesting places as the Mediterranean coast and The Prades Mountains.

The porches of Montblanc walled ensemble are always open, inviting the visitor to let himself go by the history and the legends which the alive stones keep.

In its more than 90 km2 the town of Montblanc has several centers of population. Centuries ago, some of them had managed to be independent but their progressive depopulation made that they finished attached to Montblanc.
Nowadays, la Guàrdia dels Prats and Lilla are the ones with more inhabitants. This does not mean that the others do not have activity. The rural tourism (country houses and restaurants) has made that many visitors have discovered them and appreciate the calmness and the calm you can breath there, the beautiful landscapes that surround them and the kindness of their people.
