Vilaverd plaster kilns
-
Circular route between the towns of Montblanc and Vilaverd, starting from the square of the old convent of Sant Francesc. Moderate difficulty. The first stretch runs along part of the path that leads to the chapel of Sant Josep but soon leaves it to take the shortcut that goes towards La Vall, one of the most popular natural areas of the town. Before entering La Vall, the route breaks off to the left to meet the TV-7042 Montblanc-Rojals road. Once you reach the road, you have to cross it to take a path with clay soil and some loose stones that leads to the old plaster kiln of Bassot and the first plaster kiln of the Bregues, in Vilaverd. The return is along the old road to Vilaverd. WARNING! You have to walk about 200 metres along the C-14.
