Joan Amades placed the legend of Saint George in the town and he gathered it in the Catalan Customs Collection. Through his inspiration, you will be able to penjoy a movie in 3D that will let you go in to a world where reality and legend coexist all togheter.

One of the chapels in the old church of Saint Francesc (s. XIII) becomes an space where reality and legend, the monuments and the artistic and cultural heritage come together to present one of the most important medieval village in Catalonia.

It is probably that Joan Amades was inspired by the medieval charm to locate the Saint George Legend in Montblanc and that way it was collected in the Catalan Customs Collection. Precisely you can live with him a 3D experience to go deep in a world full of emotions and discoveries.

On occasion of this legend, coinciding with Saint George day (23rd April) the Medieval Association organises the Medieval week of Saint George Legend. During two weekends the town revives its medieval origin and the streets, squares and towers are embellished with the noble flags and standards. SThere are a lot of activities that transport the visitors back to the Middle Age.

You will have the opportunity to know the most significant historical facts of one of the most important Catalan villages.

SOne of the most important thing in Montblanc is the great monumental legacy preserved until now. There are a lot of legends and stories that tell the facts happened in the town and in its streets, squares and spots it is noticeable the importance that the village had during the Middle Age. Jaume II, Alfons III, Pere III el Cerimoniós and Ferran d'Antequera chose Montblanc to celebrate in it the General Catalan Courts four times.
